Overview B.Tech (Electrical Engineering)

  • The electrical engineering department is established in 2018. The department has fully functional laboratories in the fields of electrical systems, power electronic drives and controls, microcontrollers, PLC and SCADA, switchgear and protection devices, renewable energy systems, and Electric Vehicle lab in collaboration with industry. Laboratories created to satisfy advanced research needs.
  • The department has a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated professors. The department has a rich research culture and faculty members regularly publish research articles on well-known international journals. Furthermore, the faculty is involved in consultancy and pioneering activities with industry. The department has research collaborations and MoUs with renowned industries such as Shreem Electric Ltd, Agni Motors Banglore, Tequed Labs Pvt Ltd, GTTC Dandeli, Cadmatic SoftwareSolution Pvt Ltd, AGE Motorsetc.
  • Multi-talented students are one of the department's greatest strengths. Through funded projects and intensive industrial training, they acquire a wide range of skills. They participate in various technical and non-technical competitions and win prizes. As a result, there is a mix of students enrolled in this field and pursuing higher studies in reputed institutions in India and abroad. The faculty founded the Electrical Engineering Students' Association (EESA), run by students and staff. Organize various co-curricular, extra-curricular and social activities such as factory tours, lectures, art competitions, exhibitionsand more. The faculty maintains close relationships with alumni who excel in various fields. Contribute to the organization through projects, seminars, guest lectures, etc. The organization provides quality education for the development of Electrical Engineers to meet the needs of society and society through result-oriented and value-based teaching-learning methods and continuous efforts to improve and develop students.
