Guest Lecture on Digital Marketing Strategies

The Department of Management Studies (MBA), DKTE’s Textile & Engineering Institute, arranged a Guest Lecture on

“Digital Marketing Strategies” for the Second-Year MBA students on 3rd October 2025. The resource person for the session was

Dr. Nitin C. Mali, I/C Director, YCSRD, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. During the lecture, he emphasized contemporary techniques

such as SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content-driven strategies. The session enhanced the students’ understanding by

linking theoretical concepts with practical industry applications. The program was organized under the valuable guidance of

Dr. Mrs. L. S. Admuthe, Director, and Prof. P. S. Jadhav, Head of MBA Department, with coordination by Prof. S. R. Patil.

Workshop on Technical Analysis

A workshop on Technical Analysis was successfully conducted on 5/10/2024, 15/11/2024, 16/11/24 and 18/11/2024 (18 hours) at DKTE’s TEI Department of Management Studies (MBA) for MBA 3rd Semester students.  The session aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and skills related to market analysis, stock trends, and decision-making in the financial sector.

Workshop Objectives

  1. To introduce students to the fundamentals of technical analysis.
  2. To teach the use of charts and indicators for market analysis.
  3. To enable students to make informed decisions in stock trading and investment.

Content and Activities

The workshop was divided into several interactive sessions:

  1. Introduction to Technical Analysis
    • Overview of financial markets and the role of technical analysis.
    • Basics of price movements and trends.
  2. Charts and Indicators
    • Types of charts: Line, bar, and candlestick charts.
    • Key indicators such as Moving Averages, RSI
  3. Hands-on Training
    • Practical exercises using live market data.
    • Analyzing stock performance with real-time tools.
  4. Q&A and Group Discussion
    • Addressing student queries.
    • Group discussions on current market trends.

Outcomes

The workshop successfully:

  • Enhanced the financial literacy of students.
  • Provided practical exposure to market analysis tools.
  • Encouraged students to pursue further learning and careers in financial markets.

Feedback collected from participants indicated a high level of satisfaction and enthusiasm for similar workshops in the future.
