A MoU has been signed between Civil Engineering Department of DKTE and DRX Concrete

A MoU has been signed between Civil Engineering Department of DKTE and DRX Concrete on 6th November 2019. The MoU was signed by Executive Director of DRX Concrete Mr. Swapnil Patil and Director Prof.(Dr.) P.V. Kadole.

Disha Ready Mix Concrete (DRX CONCRETE) is the leading company situated at Kondigre Dist. Kolhapur. DRX Company is mainly involved in the production of ready mixed concrete.

This MoU will help students of Civil Engineering Department to study industrial requirements and latest trends in concrete field. DRX Concrete Company is ready to help students by allowing internship activities. On the occasion of signing this MoU, Head of Civil Engineering Prof. (Dr.) M.B. Chougule, Civil Engineering faculties Prof. A.L. Mulla, Prof. R.S. Patil, Dr. V.N. Patil, Prof. V.D.Sakhare, Prof. Ms. K.S. Balwan were present.

MoU between Civil Engineering Department of DKTE and CADD Centre Training Services Pvt. Ltd. Chennai

A MoU has been signed between the Civil Engineering Department of DKTE and CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd, Chennai, through Sambhaji Nagar Branch, Kolhapur on 22nd September 2020.

The MoU was signed by Business Head of CADD Centre Er. Dhawal Bagwade and Director of DKTE Prof. (Dr.) P.V. Kadole.CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd has its headquarters at Chennai and one of its branch is situated at Sambhaji Nagar, Kolhapur. As Asia's biggest network of CAD training centers, CADD Centre Training Services is the training arm of the 30-year-old CADD Centre Group, head quartered at Chennai, India. Founded in the year 1988, CADD Centre has grown today as Asia's biggest network of skill training provider in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), and Project Management. CADD Centre host .

This MoU will help students of the Civil Engineering Department to study a wide array of courses, certifications, placement assistance and career planning tools to help students get the most from their education. On the occasion of signing this MoU, Head of Civil Engineering Prof. (Dr.) M.B. Chougule, Civil Engineering faculties Prof. A.L. Mulla, Prof. R.S. Patil, Prof. G.S. Patil were present.

Field Visit of Students & Faculty during Workshop on “Total Station – Surveying”

Civil Engineering Department of DKTE organised one day workshop in collaboration with The Institution of Engineers (India) Kolhapur Local Centre on "Total Station and its applications in Surveying."

Civil Engineering Department organized One-Day Seminar for students on the topic “Modern Softwares in Civil Engineering” on 12th June 2019. This was organized by Students’ Chapter of The Institution of Engineers, India of Civil Engineering Department and ‘CADD Centre Training Services Private Limited, Chennai’.

Faculty Training Workshop @ Civil Engineering Department of DKTE

Civil Engineering Department conducted one day faculty training workshop on the topic “Transportation Engineering”. This workshop was conducted in collaboration with ‘The Institution of Engineers (India)’ - Kolhapur Local Centre. Experts from Globe Trek Engineering Corporation, Mumbai - Mr. Rohan Chiplunkar, Mr. Rupesh Jagdish Gavand and Mr. Manish Kumar Singh provided hands on training to faculty members of Civil Engineering on various equipments, to help them conduct research-oriented activities. Various tests such as Aggregate Impact Testing, Aggregate Crushing Test, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer, Standard Penetrometer, Softening Point (Ring & Ball), Tar Viscometer, Pensky Marten Flash Point, Ductility Test Machine, Film Stripping Device, CBR Testing Machine, Los Angles Abrasion test etc. were thoroughly conducted. All Teaching faculties and laboratory Assistants of Civil Engineering Department were present for the workshop.

Industrial visit organized by Civil Engineering Department to DRX Concrete

Civil Engineering Department organized construction site visit to DRX RMC Concrete Plant for students to explore the information on “Building Construction Materials”. In this site visit, Er. Nitin Patil, Engineer & Contractor, Jaysingpur gave detailed information of different building materials, their types like cement, sand & aggregates.

Civil Engineering Department organized construction site visit for students to explore the information on “Building Construction and Materials”. In this site visit Er. Riyaz Satti, President of Association of Engineers and Architects, Ichalkaranji, gave detailed information of different building materials and their types like sand, steel, aggregates and cement. He also gave information about Site Plan, R.C.C. components like beam, column, lintel etc.
