Guidelines for admissions to Ph.D. at DKTE research Center

  1. Research Scholar (RS) Shall approach the office of Textile and Engineering Institute (TEI) Ichalkaranji after receiving the Ph.D. registration confirmation letter from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, for completing the process of admission to respective Research Center (RC) of TEI, Ichalkaranji.
  2. After admission confirmation at TEI office, the Research Scholar shall pay fee of Rs. 10,000/annum at the beginning of every academic year till the completion of their research work.
  3. Faculty member of TEI, choosing TEI’s research center for pursuing their Ph.D. shall pay Rs. 5000/annum as the research center fees at the beginning of every academic year till the completion of their research work.
  4. The institute’s office shall send the copy of the Research Scholar’s admission to the concerned Head of Department and Guide.
  5. Research Scholar shall submit the copy of his/her Ph.D. synopsis duly signed by his/her guide to the concerned department before submitting the same to Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
  6. No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Shivaji University, Kolhapur will be provided by the Research Center to the Research Scholar while submitting the thesis, only if the Research Scholar has completed all the necessary formalities as mentioned below.
      1. Full payment of fees for all the years.
      2. Submission of a copy of PhD Report along with a copy of Synopsis of work done to respective RC.
      3. Copies of Paper publications to respective RC.
  7. The changes in norms or fees, if any shall be communicated by mail and the copy of same shall be uploaded on the institute’s website.

PPP EDUCATION CENTER

 

I. Education Centre for Knitting Technology

This is a joint venture of GTZ (German Assistance for Technical co-operation) Germany, M/S Mayer & CIE Germany, M/S Batliboi Ltd, Mumbai and Textile & Engineering Institute. The GTZ Germany had setup this project to impart hands on training on circular knitting technology.
