Department of Textiles offers P.G programme in Textile Engineering and has recognized research centre for Ph.D. The laboratories and infrastructure of P.G and Ph.D programmes have state of the art equipments and facilities and are recognized by the affiliating university. There are also industrial supported laboratories with relevant equipments .The faculty members are well qualified and have recognition from the affiliating university for Ph.D guideship. Many funded research projects are functioning in the department and these funded research project provide good support to P.G and Ph.D students/scholars for their research work. To show case the research work of P.G students, department organizes a technical symposium every year.
