Use of ICT Enabled Tools for Effective Teaching Learning Process:
For making the teaching learning process more effective use of ICT tools is widely explored by the teachers. The use of ICT tools enhances the student’s retention and also optimize the delivery of the course contents in an effective way. The use and implementation of some of the ICT tools by the faculty are discussed.
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams provides an excellent platform to manage the class sessions. During the pandemic situation the teachers have implemented the entire online classes through Teams. Teachers have shared the course materials, posted the assignments, lab related materials, have made use of Teams poll and also recorded the lecture sessions through Teams.
Moodle
Teachers use Moodle to upload the reference material on the Moodle. (Lecture plan, experiment list, reference books, lab manual, course material, assignment/Tutorial list etc is available on Moodle- departmental portal). The online tests were conducted using Moodle
Video Conferencing
Teachers interact with students through the platform of Google Meet /Zoom. During the pandemic situation all the mentor meetings were conducted through this mode. Use of Google forma has been done extensively for collecting student information.
Video Lecture
The teachers have created the recordings of video lectures that is made available to the students for their long-term learning and future referencing.
