The access to online portal for submission of application for advanced admission to Ph.D programmes for the academic year2022-23(Final admission 2023-24) for the full time /permanent faculty of degree level
engineering institutions is available from March 01, 2022 (Tuesday) atwww.cep.iitkgp.ac.in/qip . The last date for online submission of the application is March 31,2022 (Thursday). 1/03/2022.

About B.Voc.:
B.Voc.(Bachelor of Vocation) is an emerging course in India that aims at providing adequate skills required for a particular trade to candidates. The course is different from traditional academic programmes as it deals more with application based studies rather than focusing on only theoretical knowledge.
Why Graduation in B.Voc. Programme ?
Eligibility:
During the first year of this course fundamentals of the engineering will be covered with a bridge course on maintenance and repairing of telephone and mobile handsets. In the second year electronics and communication engineering related subjects will be taught and the last year advanced knowledge about the telephone and mobile technology will be covered with a mega project. After successful completion of this course students will be able to work in industry or can start their own business with high confidence level.

After successful completion of B.Voc course, students can join to garment industry as supervisor, industrial engineer designer, quality controller, and merchandiser. The students can also start their own boutique, garment business and can fulfill their dream of being an entrepreneur.
