The activities under these student chapters are organized by various department level students associations which are TAIMU (Textile Associationnof India Ichalkaranji Miraj Unit), EESA (Electronics Engineering Student Association), MESA (Mechanical Engineering Student Association), ACSES (Association of Computer Science and Engineering Students),ELESA (Electrical Engineering Student Association) and CESA (Civil Engineering Student Association). These associations encourage team work and the spirit of self-reliance among the students.Students plan and organize various programs like Workshop, Project Exhibition, Guest Lectures, Soft-skill and Aptitude Test etc under these Students Chapters/Associations. It provides a common platform for the students to exchange ideas and information on the topics of their interest e.g. curriculum, employment / higher educational opportunities, emerging trends, new development etc. Also under this associations events like Teachers day, Womens day, Gurupournima, Engineers Day, Yoga Day, Freshers Welcome, Farewell etc. are celebrated.
Every year each department organizes National Level Events
Our institute organizes National Level Students Contest “Textvision & Fashionova” every year. In this contest one of the event is Design Collection & Presentation. It is the event where the student has to prepare the Costumes on given theme and exhibit it on live models.

During Annual Social, Event called GENIUS is organized.
GENIUS
In this Event, students get opportunity to exhibit their talent and creativity. The program is conducted in three phases. The first phase is the computer based online test. In second phase, personal interview is conducted for top 30 students. From these 30 students, 10 students get shortlisted for final round. Final Round is conducted on stage in front of all students, staff and judges. The questions are asked in various rounds such as Clue Round, Rapid Question Round, For and Against, Common Question Round and finally judges round is conducted. The student who get highest marks is declared as GENIUS. The winner is awared GENIUS TROPHY and Cash Prize.

Every year Institute publishes magazine called AMBAR which intends to search artist hidden in an engineer.
AMBAR
AMBAR magazine includes Articles, Poems, Paintings, Thoughts, book reviews and technical section. Students publish articles about latest technology in Ambar.
Every year University Level Magazine Competition is organized by Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Ambar has bagged ‘First Prize’ in this competition for the year 2008-2009 and ‘Second Prize’ in 2014-2015 and ‘Third Prize’ for the years 2007-2008, 2009-2010 & 2017-2018 along with 12 to 16 number of individual prizes in various literary skill categories like article, poem, story, interview in various languages.

Central Computer Facility
Institute has well developed Central Computer Lab (CCL) consisting of computers with its peripherals, servers, and licensed softwares. In this lab, 100 highly configured computers systems are connected to glob through 1 GBPS BSNL leased line and 600 MBPS Airtel Broadband. Ten different highly configured server of IBM and HP brand are also available. In this lab, almost all modern softwares required for different programs are extensively utilised by our faculty and students. Lab is utilized for various activities including Workshop, Training, Seminar, Information Search, News, Updates, Current Affairs, Email & Social Media, Online Exam, Form Filling and other internet usage.

Every year DKTE organizes blood donation camp in college campus. This year under Annual Social JOSH- 2K19, Blood Donation Camp was organized in Darbar Hall. Dr. Vijay Koparde & team of Aadhar Blood Bank, Ichalkaranji and Dr. A. D. Patil & team of Aacharya Shri Tulasi Blood Bank, Udgaon were instrumental in organizing this camp. More than 250 donors participated in the camp enthusiastically by donating blood.



Variety of activities are carried out through NSS, DKTE students on the third day of NSS Camp, did the Cleaning of all the religious places of worship in Tardal Village.


DKTE students organized a Rally to free Panchaganga River from Pollution o 4th January 2019. Students from all textile and engineering branches as well as faculty and staff were participated in this rally.

On the occasion of ‘World Environment Day -2018’ , DKTE society's Textile and Engineering Institute and Institution of engineers (India) Kolhapur Local centre organized ‘Tree plantation’ at Mouje Sangav.

To give importance of cleanness of surrounding Cleaning of Surrounding, students from NSS wing, Nature and Yoga Club of DKTE and Ichalkaranji Municipal Corporation cleaned the surrounding of DKTE Institute.


On the occasion of Independence Day, NSS Wing of DKTE conducted an Educational Trip for the Disabled students of 'Sanmati Mati Mand School' to various places of Ichalkaranji and surroundings.
